Abstract
The author lists the steps in designing an MLS/ODBMS, compares a single-level object model with a multilevel object model and states the choice of a model, discusses the multilevel object model, gives design considerations for an MLS/ODBMS based on the selected architecture, and finally, discusses security constraint processing in an MLS/ODBMS. The paper is just the first step forwards the design of an MLS/ODBMS. Much more remains to be done
