Abstract
This paper describes the findings of a case study that explores the micro level factors surrounding the processes of creativity and process management in a creative organization. The paper adopts an interpretive approach, which involves the collection and analysis of qualitative data in an ISO certified organization. The paper argues that structured process management provides a framework for organizations. However, we also observed that the attitude which surrounds process management is diverse inside an organization. Additionally, this framework results in positive effects as well as certain constraints for organizations. These constraints in turn affect its processes and innovations. Both intended and ingenuous actions occur as a response to these constraints. The creative potential of an organization helps to overcome the given constraints of structured process management. Therefore the paper claims that within a creative business environment such creative potential is essential
