Abstract :
The cache in streaming media proxy server can effectively reduce the network throughput produced by accessing to streaming media, which has promoted streaming media application. Streaming spread brought huge challenge to proxy server cache. This paper puts forward a cache strategy of streaming media proxy server based on patching first algorithm, distinguishes hot program and ordinary program by the program popularity, thus using different cache strategy. Experiment shows program storage process and scheduling process through the different VCR operating demand reflecting the different program demand. Because refined distinguishing the user operations, it greatly optimizes proxy server cache, improves the service efficiency, optimizes user demands according to different users´ situation, and improves the system response fairness.
