Abstract :
The authors numerically study the natural thermal bidimensional and laminar convection of a Newtonian fluid developed in a thermosiphon for which the walls are hyperbolic surfaces, crossed by uniform and equal heat fluxes of constant density. The equations of transfer and variables are firstly discretised and utilised in the volume control scheme of Patankar solved thanks to the double scanning method. The influence of the Grashof number, the form factor and the half-height of the local and average Nusselt numbers on the outflow and the average temperatures of the exit are analysed
