Abstract
In this paper we present energy-dependent measurements of the visibility response of a Talbot-Lau Interferometer for X-ray phase-contrast imaging. The visibility as a crucial quality parameter in grating-based X-ray phase-contrast imaging directly influences the noise of the obtained phase signal. In order to evaluate the behaviour with respect to energy, we used the semiconductor, photon counting detector Timepix to obtain measurements at different energies. Furthermore, the behaviour has been modeled by a simulation workflow. Using this method we are able to predict the expected visibility response of specific Talbot(-Lau) setups.
