  • Abstract
    A general synthesis method is discussed for the realization of any desired radiation pattern using either an array of waveguide radiators excited through slot-coupled junctions, or an array of slots radiating into free space. An example is presented for realizing the amplitude distribution obtained by following T.T. Taylor´s (1955) method of synthesis for a 28-dB sidelobe level for a five-element array.<>
