Abstract :
A power balance calculator for achieving near-optimum dynamic regulation of a single-phase switching mode rectifier (SMR) is proposed and analyzed. The proposed SMR features unity input power factor, zero output impedance, and zero audio susceptibility. The theoretical results of the proposed approach are verified on a laboratory prototype SMR of about 1 kW size
