Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.
The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org.
A novel method was performed for the determination of Mn(II) using potassium tetratitanate whiske as extractant. The adsorption behaviors of potassium tetratitanate whiske for Mn(II) was investigated by FAAS. The adsorption rate of Mn(II) was above 94% at pH 6.0 and Mn(II) could be eluted from potassium tetratitanate whiske utilizing 0.1 mol·mL-1 EDTA as eluant. The detection limit was 40 ng·mL-1, and relative standard deviation was 1.1% (n=5, CMn=2.0μg·mL-1). This method has been applied for the determination of Mn(II) in environment samples.
