Abstract
A compact pulsed high-voltage generator has been developed. It uses inductive energy storage with an SI-thyristor as the opening switch. It generates pulsed high-voltage output of 15 kV with a pulsed width of 120 ns at the repetition rate of 2 kHz, while driven by a DC input voltage of 60 V. It is designed for applications in driving pulsed discharges for flue-gas treatment.
