Abstract
In this study, an on-line application of a new high performance chlorophyll sensor in North Yellow Sea of China and a comparison of the measure results among the new chlorophyll sensor, YSI sensor and the fluorescence spectrophotometer method were proposed. The response time of the new chlorophyll sensor was faster than that of YSI sensor. And the accuracy, precision and sensitivity of the new chlorophyll sensor were also better. These results indicated that the new chlorophyll sensor had a higher performance than YSI sensor and it was an effective and feasible sensor to measure the concentration of chlorophyll in the sea-water.
