Abstract
Generator of decaying sinusoidal pulses with power up to 11 GW was created and successfully tested. Pulse amplitude reaches 1 MV, radiated energy per pulse is more than 100 J. Mode of stable operation of 16 conical spiral antennas with axial conductor in each was experimentally obtained. Under voltage of 300 kV on input of forming device, strength of radiated electric field of ~3 kV/m at the distance of 4 m from radiator was registered.
