Jones Earns Diversity Award: STEM outreach is saving the world [Women to Watch]

Pamela Jones, an IEEE Women in Engineering member and IEEE-USA Awards Board chair, recently won the Diversity Award at the 2013 Women of Color STEM Conference in October in Dallas, Texas. Jones was selected from a nationwide pool of private industry and government employees. The award celebrates her record of community service. Although Jones says she is honored and humbled to receive the award, she finds it a bit strange to ?get an award for something we all should be doing.
