Abstract :
A flow injection micelle-solubilized spectrophotometry for rapid determination of trace cobalt(II) is proposed in this paper. The method is based on the reaction of cobalt with 2, 3, 7-trihydroxyl 9-dibromohydroxyphenyl fluorone (DBHPF) in the presence of CPB in the medium ofNH3-NH4Cl (pH=9.0). The linear respondence is in the range of 1-150μg l-1.The detection limit is 0.016μg l-1. The relative standard deviation was 2.6% for 50μg l-1 Co(II) (n =6). The presented system has been applied successfully to determination of Co(II).
