Abstract :
The performance of a multiuser multiarray coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (COFDM) system are investigated. The receiver is made of a channel estimator, a symbol detector which exits log likehood ratios (LLRs) and a channel decoder. In this paper, in order to evaluate the performance of the system, the LLRs at the output of the symbol detector are modeled as a Rayleigh process whose signal to noise ratio (SNR) depends on the different parameters. To characterize the accuracy of the modeled LLRs (in comparison with the true LLRs), we examine the bit error rate (BER) at the output of the channel decoder. We then study the impact of the multiuser characteristics and of the channel estimation error. Finally the validity of our analysis is shown by simulations.
