Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

The objective of this research was to study the status of heavy metal pollution and the change of the concentration of heavy metal in Benxi reach of Taizihe river. Results showed that the major pollution factor of heavy metal in Benxi reach was Hg, and one of its source was Zhengjia river. In the monitoring stations of Xi river, Beitai section ought to be abolished. This research would significantly improve the understanding of the status of heavy metal pollution and enhance the efficiency of heavy metal pollution monitoring in Benxi reach of Taizihe river.
