Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce an economic method of printing digital medical images with a common laser printer, which is based on digital halftoning. Some results with different algorithms are shown in order to analyze the influence of halftoning on image quality. The amplitude spectra of quantization noise produced by image halftoning are also studied
