Abstract :
Recent advances in the radar system design allow to perform Doppler and polarimetric measurements simultaneously. This paper considers behavior of a Doppler-polarimetric parameter - spectral differential reflectivity and its characteristics. Slope of differential reflectivity which is connected with turbulence intensity in rain zone is considered using real data processing.
