Abstract :
In this paper a new, phase-based method of Doppler centroid estimation is proposed. This method allows attaining both high precision and fine space resolution. It is based on the measurement of difference between corresponding points of two synthetic aperture radar images processed with different pre-assigned centroid values. Both theoretical background, and results application of the method to real synthetic aperture radar data are given in the paper.
