Drinking water is one of basic needs for human´s survival. The safety of drinking water has always been the primary concern of the international public health problems. This paper analyzed the main contaminations of water in China recently, providing a discussion on drinking water pollution and some certain kinds of diseases relatively, whilst introducing some countermeasures to change this status. And then gave the summary of this topic and proposes the main deficiency and the future study area. At last, we are hungry for establishing a feasible health risk assessment system, which has the great significance to set up environmental health strategies and management.
