The experiment used the iron carbon micro-electorlysis to treat acrylic fiber wastewater. Based on dynamic test, the optimal reaction condition was obtained as follow: iron to carbon rate being 1:4; influent pH being 3.0; the hydraulic retention time (HRT) being 150 min. When using iron carbon micro-electrolysis to pretreat acylic fiber wastewater, the removal rate of DMAC and acrylonitrile could respectively reach to 88.3% and 100%. Effluent of iron carbon micro-electorlysis treatment contained dissolved iron, So we can say that the better treatment method of acylic fiber wastewater was iron carbon micro-electrolysis combined with biological treatment.
