Abstract :
In this paper the CAD program using Matlab of the high power squirrel-cage induction motor with higher starting characteristics is presented. The design program is based on a design method described previously by the author (1998). The variation in the imposed variation range of certain sizes allows to obtain a large number of the constructive variants of the motor. The optimal design consists in a selection process of the motor which corresponds to the desired optimizing criterion
