Abstract
This paper will present our measurements of the electrical and optical properties of isolated Photosystem I (PSI) molecules and then show the results of our attempts to produce "bulk devices" which incorporate a large number of PSI molecules into an optically-sensitive test structure. Finally, we will present our strategies for incorporating the PSI molecules into self-assembled circuits that implement useful logical functions.
