Abstract
The author emphasizes that, as user advocates, technical communicators (or information developers) need to become more involved with the design of products (including information). She suggests that essential to this involvement are partnerships of planners, programmers, testers, and information developers. She describes ways in which these people worked together as key participants in each other´s work efforts on a new software product
