Abstract :
Pain information can hardly be measured objectively outside. To investigate the mechanism of pain transmission, a simulation model describing the transmission mechanism of pain information conveyed to pain center from sensory nerve endings via transmission neurons is provided in this paper. The conducted pain information demodulated from a series of impulses was utilized in this model where cell units with characteristics of chaos constituted the neural network. Then, the simulation network was trained by applying the two-step algorithm of parameter identification, and consequently the information of pain point and pain grade was the output
