Alloy was consolidated to the surface of the carrier by electrodeposition and auto-oxidized to remove phosphate from wastewater. Phosphorous removal efficiency by oxidized alloy coating on different lanthanum versus iron concentration, temperatures and current intensities was tested. The coating was tested by scanning electron microscope (SEM), and the phosphorous removal rate was tested by spectrophotometer. Through the mono-factor, the following best conditions were obtained: the molecular concentration ratio between lanthanum chloride versus ferrous chloride of 10:1; temperature of 65°C; the current intensity of 40 mA. The best configuration by the orthogonal experiment was the molecular concentration ratio between lanthanum chloride versus ferrous chloride of 10:1, the temperature of 65°C and the current intensity of 60 mA.
