Abstract
The coincident pulse technique is generalized for the purpose of deriving compact addressing schemes for pipelined optical buses. Based on this new technique, several new addressing schemes are presented. Compared with the previously proposed addressing scheme, the new schemes significantly improve the utilization of the bandwidth of optical waveguides and the scalability of a pipelined optical bus
