Abstract :
The purpose of the research is to design a visual assistant method for training and developing the speech ability of people with hearing disorders. We used the technique of dynamic computer graphics to establish a display system. The system can display the dynamic relation among the basic elements of speaking. The position and the change of the mouth chamber, tongue, and lips during speech were shown from different profiles. This ensures that the subject with a hearing disorder acquires an accurate speech technique. We also used the network tuition model to assist teachers in their teaching method. Using such an assistant system, we are confident that the efficiency and efficacy of developing the language and speech ability of hearing disorders can be improved
