Abstract :
An input current-ripple analysis of nine-phase pulsewidth-modulated (PWM) Inverter is presented in this paper. The current-ripple is analyzed using frequency domain approach. Two configuration of nine-phase inverter (nine-phase split 20° and split 40) are analyzed. From the results, it is shown that split 20° configuration has lower input current-ripple compared to split 40° configuration. Simulation and experimental results are provided to verify the analytical result.
