Abstract
This is the part of the research of Korean cultural contents design creator that can build Korean folk villages of Chosun Dynasty, 1392–1910. From the sixteen villages preserved by government, all stone fences were observed and measured for database of Korean stone fences. The data sets are useful reference for digital contents producers who make games and films with old period Korean environment. By the algorithm, stones for stone fences are automatically modeled as 3D objects roughly defined natural looking rocks. The resulting models are optimized and textured polygonal models for real-time rendering games and also film set design tools.
