Telemedical systems and services-objects of and tools for evaluation/verification procedures

The evaluation of telemedical systems and services is a very complex task. Whereas software and hardware components can be described by measurable parameters, service quality is often a subjective assessment based on questionnaires. The authors describe the first evaluation step made for the ophthalmological teleconsultation network after one year of service.
