Abstract
As digital publishing is becoming the next mainstream trend, the traditional publishing industry must undergo transformation to cultivate talents and accelerate the switch to digital publishing. This study explores what professional abilities that digital publishing industry employees must possess. In this study, a literature review was conducted to collect information on the current development of digital publishing industry. Through the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) questionnaires, this study constructs a complete competence hierarchy and indicators. Considering the demand for professional competencies items in digital publishing industry, "system development" is weighted the most. Among competence indicators, "learn encryption of digital files" is most required by digital publishing employees.
