Abstract
The publishing houses in Taiwan are all in the wait-and-see stage on digital publishing, most of them dare not easily make an investment in it due to insufficient economic scale, fund shortage, incomplete management mechanism of digital rights as well as reader´s weak concept of on-line pay-to-read and other factors, so that digital publishing is still in an embryonic stage. However, it is indicated by the investigation of government that industries related with digital books have been continuously growing in recent years, all circles also have an optimistic view that digital publishing will be the main revenue source of publishing industry in the future, therefore, the co-competition strategy in the digital publishing industry chain appears to be quite important. This paper had interviewed 10 digital publishing business runners in Taiwan and offered six co-competition strategies which will be good to the Taiwan´s industry.
