Abstract
This short paper presents a framework named integrated CCM (iCCM) for integrating DDS into the CORBA Component Model (CCM). The goal of iCCM is (1) to promote reuse as opposed to reinvention without compromising performance, (2) reduce deployment and configuration complexities associated with DDS; and (3) to allow DRE system developers to focus more on the business-logic of the application instead of low-level implementation details.
