Saturated coke as filler materials, experiment on the advanced treatment of coking wastewater by three-dimensional fixed bed electrode reactor was carried out. It was indicated that coke powder can be used as catalytic electrode, an optimized conditions for electrolysis time 60min, current density SA, particle size 10-20mesh number, dosing quantity 400ml, plate spacing 1cm, COD removal efficiency was up to 70%. Analyzing the code that was used before and after experiments by SEM, we find that coke was appropriate as filled electrode as its compact structure, high crystallinity and proper porosity. The degradation mechanism of COD in the experiment was also carried out and obeyed the first order dynamics.
