Abstract :
In China, with the general improvement of people´s requirement of spiritual life, the demand of publications has been increasing year after year, and this has bring along the rapid development of large amounts of publications enterprises and other related logistics enterprises. This paper introduces the general situation of publications logistics in China firstly and chooses several representative publications logistics enterprises as examples in order to have a deep analysis of the development status and exiting problems. Secondly, combined with the self characteristics of the publications logistics in China and successful publications logistics experiences in other developed countries, this paper also puts forward a few relevant countermeasures for dealing with the problems such as adopting automatic logistics technology, selecting suitable order picking strategies, optimizing the spatial arrangement of the storage, etc. The last but not least, it recommends that the publications logistics enterprises in China should find their development direction and seek new point for economic growth.
