Taking BFS as raw material, the effects of different concentrations of sulfuric acid modification, adsorbent particle size, dosage, pH and temperature on phosphorus removals from wastewater were investigated. The results showed that BFS modified by 2mol/L sulfuric acid was significantly better than other treatments and the optimum conditions of wastewater treatment were particle size of 40-60 meshes, dosage of 3g / ml, pH of 8.0 and reaction temperature of 303K. MBFS has a certain application prospect in the aspect of phosphorus removals from phosphorus-containing industrial wastewater.
