Abstract :
The internal flow field of internal cone deoiling hydrocyclones is studied by using flow field simulation method. Reynolds stress model of multiphase flow is used as the turbulence model and SIMPLEC algorithms is used for dispersion and solution of basic equation. Then numerical simulation on internal cone deoiling hydrocyclones is carried out by using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method, and the effect of characteristic parameters on properties of cyclone separator is revealed.
