Abstract
A prototype vision system has been constructed using the algorithm developed by Booth, Allen and Farsi (1991) using a combination of special purpose hardware, and T800 transputers. The 13 transputer system is fitted with a sensor head capable of monitoring a scene up to 6 metres using a combination of 3 rigidly mounted CCD cameras. The system constructs accurate 3D wire frame model of the tested scenes which comprise simple industrial and laboratory furniture and rooms.<>
