Abstract :
Summary form only given. The author presents the organizational structure of IEC TC2 (Rotating Electrical Machines) and how the USA is structured to participate in this work. A presentation is made as to how IEC processes documents that lead to international standards and how the US is equipped to comment and vote on these documents at the various stages. Lastly, the current program of work for IEC TC2 is presented and discussed. In this segment, there is an opportunity for discussion of additional US needs and concern regarding current and proposed standards
