Abstract :
The traditional Web model can´t meet the requirement of file resource management under Internet environment for reasons of Web server bottleneck, resource replication management, resource discovery and network bandwidth problems. Grid technology provides an efficient method for distributed resources management. This paper introduces architecture of educational resources grid (ERG) and analyzes the components function in detail. A metadata specification of ERG is proposed.
