Recently, more and more researchers have paid more attention to TCE anaerobic degradation. A new kind of anaerobic sludge cultivate appliance was developed to acclimate granule sludge of TCE anaerobic degradation which provided essential basis on ground water. In this research, during the anaerobic treatment, anaerobic granule sludge was acclimated successfully in a short period (120 days), by feeding with cosubstrate, by loading different ratios of organic matter and maintaining stable pH(7.0 to 7.5) and temperature (35°C). In this study the removal rate of TCE was approximately 88.6% and cis-dichloroethylene(cis-DCE) was detected which showed TCE was degraded by reductive dechlorination.
