Abstract
The present paper summarizes the main conclusions of the CIGRE Task Force 38.02.14 work related to the analysis and the modeling needs of power systems under major frequency disturbances. Taken as a whole, the practical outcome of this Task Force is a set of technical specification guidelines to be taken into account when facing or suspecting large frequency deviations
