Abstract :
This presentation gives an overview of the requirements of optoelectronic links for their insertion in applications such as CATV, broadband wireless LAN and other sensing applications. In particular, the recent development of high power photodiodes for conversion of broadband modulated optical signals to electrical signals for antenna transmission will be described.
