Based on the observed and analyzed data, chemical weathering rate and mechanical denudation rate are calculated to analyze the water chemical characteristic in Longchuanjiang River. The results as follows : (l)HCO3-, Ca2+, Na+, K+ and SO42- are the main chemical character matters, so the chemical weathering process is dominative in Longchuanjiang Catchments, the contribution ratio of Carbonate, silicate, evaporative mineral and atmospheric CO, to the water are 42.16%, 22.18%, 16.62% and 34.90%; (2)The chemical weathering rate is highly positive correlation with the ion-runoff modulus, and the chemical weathering rate can be reckoned up by the mechanical denudation rate; (3)POC is positive correlation with TSS, But DOC is a unstable correlation with TSS, or positive or negative; (4)The annual average value of DOC/POC is 0.84, the value is stable in dry season, but the value is smaller than dry season in rain season, because of the POC increased more than the DOC, whereas the POC and DOC are all increased in the strong precipitation process.
