A Study on an Efficient Searching Method of Multimedia Contents

Field of information technique and Internet have experienced rapid growth. Nowadays, most people are able to use multimedia data such as movies. Furthermore, as the performance of computer hardware is increasing, the scale of software is increased as well. Especially, the quality of multimedia, such as resolution of (motion) picture and sound can be served in high quality. As computer users are becoming more familiar with multimedia contents, these users seek to search for specific part exactly they wanted from various types of contents. Sometimes users want to link different types of contents to each other. To meet those users´ need, we suggest that contents need to be formatted to database by indexing. In this paper, we proposed an efficient method to manage those VLDB(very large database) through the theoretical development and actual test.
