  • Abstract
    Mass customization manufacturing (MCM) is the most advanced production mode. In its manufacturing process, the quality assurance system has its special requirements. The key to success is to design a linkage system that can bring together whatever modules are necessary - instantly, costlessly, seamlessly, and frictionlessly. This linkage system is the dynamic network, which can also be regarded as a "dynamic alliance" inside the enterprise. Then three FMS production line layouts are brought forward which are probably suitable for the dynamic network of MCM. These three types are the child production lines type, the C-shape lines type and the flower type, whose nature characteristics (the optimization of weak coupling relations) are also analyzed. To get the dynamic network, our quality systems have to be remodeled. Then using a grey genetic algorithm with the concept of quality loss, its model in MCMQA is built. Finally, the implementation of a flower type FMS dynamic network is given in an e-factory based on QUEST. And the work flow of it is also described here
