Abstract :
A tunable diode-laser sensor based on CO2 absorption near 1.573μm is developed for high-resolution absorption measurements of CO2 concentration. The concentration is inferred from the WMS-lf-normalized absorption-based WMS-2f signal peak height of a CO2 absorption line near 6357.311 cm-1. The measurement is first performed in a controlled static cell. A burner experiment is also conducted to confirm the potential utility of the system for combustion diagnose.
