The issues of the emission of toxic waste gas, such as SO2 and H2S, in INBA system were absorbed more and more interest. In this paper the thermodynamic simulation of the reacting process between slag and water in the full temperature range (20~1350°C) of INBA system was carried out with FactSage software. It was found that preferred temperature range for the formation of SO2 in INBA system was >;810°C, that for H2S was 280 ~ 560°C. The hot water type INBA system, the main reaction temperature zone between water and slag was around 420°C, and for cold water type the zone was moved to around 350°C.
