Abstract
An approximate modeling of electrostrictive actuator control system is established in this paper. It is shown that this is a third-order plant. A new control algorithm based on pan-Boolean algebra theory was also presented. This newer controller divided the error phase space into twenty-seven working regions. The error phase space is made up of the error (e), change in error (e) and change in that of change in error (e). The controller adopts nine rule control laws corresponding to twenty-seven working regions to attain demand. It is shown by the simulation results that, the controller can solve stability problem of control system. It can also track sine-wave and ramp wave signals.
