Abstract :
This paper proposes a new type of frequency-domain LMS adaptive filter incorporating the FFT. In comparison with conventional FFT-based adaptive filters, the proposed scheme requires much smaller-sized FFT´s in carrying out a system identification, so that it is more suitable for LSI implementations. The convergence proof and steady-state analysis with regard to a mean square error are given. In order to show the efficiency of the proposed method, several computer simulation results are also shown
